I am so excited to finally share this Back to School teacher gift idea that we did for our teachers this year! It’s SO simple to do and your teachers will love it! At the meet the teacher night , we brought Tommy & Kate’s teachers a wrapped up colorful box of Sharpies that I picked up at Sam’s for $12. (who wouldn’t love a fresh box of 24 colors of sharpies?!) We printed these cute printable “Have a Bright School Year” tags that I designed and the kids and I colored them in with highlighters! You could really attach this tag to any set of highlighters, markers or “bright” gift for the teacher!

What a great idea, thanks Kim!!!!
adorable. is anyone else having a hard time with the link to “lets start this school year off write”?
I have had trouble with a few of the links 🙁
Hi ladies! I apologize…the blogs are suppose to post all at the same time today so that all the links are good to go. Some must not be posted yet, but will be very soon! So sorry!
The links in the My Sister’s Suitcase blog still don’t work for me…I’ll keep trying!
Stacy Blanchard, I didn’t have trouble, but, if you did, here is the link for it: http://whipperberry.com/2013/08/12-free-start-of-school-printables-great-teacher-gift-ideas.html 🙂
Enjoy! Hope this works!
This is so cute Kim! I can’t wait till my girl is in school so that I can use all these fun ideas!
Thank you, Andrea! Glad you like them!
I love this idea and am going to use it, but for the kids in my older son’s class. Maybe one high-ligher each.
Such a great idea to use it for the kids too!
Thank you Kim!! You make my life so much easier with all of your free printables. Makes back to school and teacher appreciation week much simpler now.
You are so welcome, Cindy! Thank you for commenting!
Super cute Kim! 🙂
Thank you, Susan!
Is it possible to just get the download without having to sign up for any accounts or download any programs? I would love to use this for my kids this year but I’m not going to sign up for some “scribd” account or download some file viewing program to my computer just to have it. Can you make just a simple link for people who are not into adding things to their computer or just need a simple click here and it opens it up?
Thanks
Hi Crystal! Unfortunately, the only way to download all of my free printables are through Scribd. It is a free service that allows me to upload them and is free for you to sign up using an email address or social media account. It also allows me to track what is downloaded and how often so I can see which designs my readers like the most which helps me determine what to design next! Thanks!
Great idea!!! Thanks!
Thank you, Georgina!
your site is awesome!
Thank you so much!
Love this idea! It will make a cute giftie for my coworkers. I found some neon-bright socks and pencils to wrap with some pens. Thanks for sharing:-)
Perfect, Jan!!
