Today we get to feature a real party inspired by the one Kim threw for her daughter Kate for her fourth birthday. Bella, the birthday girl, had a fabulous black, white, and hot pink themed Parisian Barbie party thrown for her by her mom (whose name is, funnily enough, also Barbie!) and her dad. The big “wow” factor of this party was an awesome fashion show stage, where the girls were able to dress in tutus and strut their stuff on a black and white striped runway. The boys weren’t left out, either, with bow ties and fake mustaches at their disposal to dress themselves up as well. My favorite idea, though, is a fun new take on the photo booth: Bella’s parents designed and constructed life-sized doll boxes for the kids to have their pictures taken in! Now that’s thinking outside the box! (Or in it? Hmmm…)

I remember seeing the sneak peak photos for this party on the Tom Kat Facebook page, so I am thrilled to see the finished party. Just love this!! We are throwing a Glamour Girl in Paris Barbie party for my daughter’s 8th birthday next year, so this is great inspiration. Those photo booths are FABULOUS!
Wow, what a great party. I would love to know where they got the vintage Barbie fashion prints that hung above the food table. My daughter would love those in her room.
Here is an idea to replicate the goregous look of the framed Barbie prints from this party: there is a Barbie calendar produced each year that has gorgeous 12″x12″ illustrations for every month that you could trim slightly (because of the hole in the calendar to allow for hanging) and frame yourself. I found mine at World Market but here is the link to one on Amazon:

I am planning to frame a few for my daughter’s Barbie party next year…hope that helps 🙂
Thanks Tina. I think I also found this artist’s prints on eBay pretty inexpensively. His name is Robert Best.
I’m in love with this party!!!
Oh la lah, c’est tres chic, non?
LOVE the Barbie box photo booths – adorable 🙂
Super cute!! Love it! Would love to know how they made those Barbie boxes or where I can order one from. The party looks amazing.

The doll box photo booths are my absolute favorite detail — how DARLING!! I love it.
Wow! I super like this post. This is such a fabulous birthday party I’ve ever seen. Every girl loves barbie a lot. They even idolized it until they grow old. Barbie will never be forgotten. It will always be a favorite. Thank you for this awesome post. This is such an inspiring to all of the mom’s out there to throw a fabulous party like this. This is a perfect party for your child. Thank you.
She says she told police she believes she knows keylogger who is behind the drive-by shooting.
For example, Select” April 15th”, and said
it was” striking” that Tudway had not said the records
held on the webcam.
Hot pink, black and white are such great colors for a little girl’s birthday party. So strong and vibrant, yet so “girly”. I love it! The Eiffel Tower sippy cups were an inspired choice, and worked perfectly with the theme, combining Parisian elegance, with a little princess’ touch. Great photos!
Where can I find the vintage Barbie prints that were displayed? They would be PERFECT for my daughters up and coming 7th birthday Barbie fashion show. Thanks!!
Hi Jacqueline,
I’m not sure where the hostess found them, but I would google “Robert Best Vintage Barbie Art” and see what you find. Maybe she used the pages from a Barbie calendar?
Good luck!
Kim
