One of our favorite things to do here is introduce our readers to new home based businesses started by Moms! This week, we would like for you all to meet Jennifer, owner and creator of Dishable Designs. After working for Disney for 12 years, Jennifer wanted to break out and create her own line of diverse, original artwork. She is doing just that with these adorable melamine customized plates! She explains that in her house, choosing which plate each child uses is a topic at every meal, so she realized that if your name and face are on the plates, it’s no longer an issue. Plus, Dishable Designs is a keepsake that is actually useful! They are perfect for birthday gifts! Jennifer says it’s her small way of helping to make kids feel special, and any day she can do that is a great day.

All designs are gorgeous! It’s so hard to choose… I’d pick the girl bear, the girl elephant or the princess.
I have two little girls at home with birthdays coming up, so I would choose the birthday girl ones! They are all super cute – thanks for sharing!
