Looking for Halloween decorating inspiration? We designed my fireplace mantel in three different Halloween styles for DIY Network— spooky, glam and traditional — and didn’t spend a lot of time or money doing it. Pick your favorite, download the printables and projects and get the look you love this Halloween!
First up, this Halloween, create a bold statement with an all black and white Halloween display! What says glam more than black glitter and lace? Start by draping white cheesecloth on your mantel and add some glittery spiders and spider webs.
Create a focal point for your display by making a statement art piece. This glittered witch art is the perfect accessory to set the tone for this glam mantel. In just a few easy steps, this witch can be painted and glittered. Download the printable template and follow the simple instructions!
Dress up simple white pillar candles by adding black lace. Simply wrap the lace around the top edge of the candle and pin or glue on the back to add a touch of Halloween glam. Get the instructions here
This black and white Halloween banner will anchor your display. The fancy font in white on black adds instant glamour. Download the free printable banner, print, then cut using a circle cutter. String the cut out letters with ribbon or twine, and hang!
Glittery Halloween décor is everywhere! Find a few unique items to add more sparkle to your black and white glam Halloween display!

Love it, Kim! Great job!
Thanks so much, Jen!
Kim,
I love the banner. The font is amazing. Glitter paper is the cherry on top.
Jenn
Thank you so much, Jenn!
This is such a cute way to decorate for Halloween without getting too creepy or spooky. I especially love the giant spiders crawling up the fireplace – did you make those too? Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Michelle!
Thanks so much! No, those furry spiders are just store-bought! I can’t remember where I found them!
Kim
How adorable is this!!!! You are so talented Kim! Can’t wait to see the other two.
Coming soon, Rachelle! Stay tuned…
I LOVE this glam mantle!! Any chance you remember where you found the tree? It is the perfect size!
Hi Christy!
That amazing tree was my assistant’s. I want to say she bought it year’s ago at the Christmas Tree Store?
