Stationery: Personalized Notecards!
I love creating new items! The ideas in my head are going crazy these days. Seriously, I find inspiration everywhere. It is excites me the most when someone inquires about a new product or theme that I haven’t created yet! This morning I received an email from a friend of a friend, Heather, that she needs thank you cards ASAP to send to friends for birthday gifts she just received. These are the samples that I’ve come up with so far.

HI Kim! I love the personalized cards! (I’ll just pretend they were for me!). One thing you could do is to make the front of the card just a little shorter (even adding a scalloped edge) by about 1/4″, and add a colored strip along the inside of of the card, so the strip on the inside shows. It makes the card a little more three dimensional. See examples I’ve done at the peterpauper.com website…I’m thinking especially of the “sparkly topiary notecards” under the stationery section as an example. And, yes, you should definitely offer these on your shop! Good luck!

Kelly – Thank you! Just checked out your beautiful blog!
Heather – Very cute! I just bought a scalloped edge punch, which would work perfect!

I love, love, love them! The bottom one is my favorite!
I’m a sucker for this type of stationary, though…I gave similar items out to my bridesmaids as gifts!
