  1. Happy 20,000 Fans!!! I’m torn between two themes. I’d like to create a vintage sports theme for my son’s third birthday, but I’d also love a set to coordinate with my best friend’s bridal shower: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, SOmething Blue.

    • Lauren Reed says:

This is a fabulous idea!! My one and only baby sister is planning her wedding and I would love to use this theme!! Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue!! Although for her everything would need to be very very girly, sparkly and glitzy for lack of better adjectives lol!!

      • Katrina says:

Inspiration from the new movie girls? These books are amazing!

        • My idea was to use pale and navy blues along with white and silver. I’d keep it pretty modern and vintage at the same time (something old and something new). Like lots of big full white flowers in sleek, minimal vases. I’m also going to have each guest as part of their gift to her include one of the four “somethings” with a note explaining why they included it and why it’s special to them.

And I didn’t even know there was a series of books or a movie. I’ll have to look into that!

    • Heather says:

I am planning my daughter’s second birthday party in July. I would love to do something with bright pink and teal and a monogram theme.

  2. Ashley C. says:

I plan on throwing my sister a surprise birthday party in June (hope she’s not reading this!) and i intend on making it feel like a Parisian vintage garden party. Lots of pinks, whites, soft yellows, peonies, lemons, limes, floral, all with a hint of masculinity sprinkled in (think wrought iron accents!). It will be so pretty and feminine!

  3. bobo says:

    Congrats!

I am planning for my son’s 4th bday party coming August..

I am thinking of Superheros from Marvel.. That will be cool for a 4 year old toddler.

  4. Sierra says:

What an incredible giveaway!! 🙂 I would love a dress up themed party for my daughter who is turning two in july! She loves to dress up and I think it would be the cutest theme to decorate for! 🙂 I sure hope I win this one! 🙂

  5. jill says:

I love the ice cream shop and milk and cookies themes! Thank you so much!

  6. sarah M. says:

Congrats!! I would love a vintage garden party theme for my b-day coming up!

  7. Andrea says:

I’m planning my sister’s birthday and it will be something like vintage chic and she wants tiffnay blue and gold for colour palette. She likes polka dots and I’m thinking something like damascs or something like that. I hope I win! 🙂 Thanks!

  8. Katrina says:

I would pick the cowboy theme! I live in NYC but we will be going back to my hometown of Pearland, Texas in July to celebrate my son’s 3rd birthday party. What better way than giving him a good ole western roundup!

  9. Amber says:

I am starting to think about my daughter’s 3rd bday in July already. Right now I am thinking an aqua, red & pink strawberry party BUT I am known to change my mind 🙂

  10. Debbi says:

I would love to have a beautifully colored party for my daughter’s 16th birthday in June! Orange and turquoise would be the themes with lots of whimsy!

  11. Meg says:

Inspired by your little adorable Kate’s first birthday, we have chosen a cupcake theme for our little girl’s 1st! However since she is the youngest out of mostly boys in our extended family we are trying to do something with multiple bright colors…All those boys cringe at too much pink 😉

  12. Day says:

I would love for a milk and cookies or ice cream theme for my daughter’s birthday or a weather or wizard/Harry potter theme for my son!

    Congratulations TomKat!

  13. Lynsey says:

Congrats on 20,000 fans!! We have picked a Seasme Street theme for our son’s first birthday party!

  14. angie says:

Congratulations on 20,000 fans on Facebook….your work is great!

  15. Amy O says:

I’m planning my twin girls’ (whom are complete opposites) 3rd birthday party. It’s going to be rock n roll/cowgirl party– “I’m a little bit country. She’s a little bit rock n roll!” 🙂

  16. A.K. says:

I want to do the ice cream shop for my daughters next birthday!!!

  18. Mary says:

This is awesome!!!! I am planning my daughter’s 3rd birthday and it is a circus theme. Colors are going to be red, hot pink, bubble gum pink, lime green, aqua blue, orange & yellow. I wanna use lots of stripes and polka dots as well.

  19. Scrapista says:

It would be a pink cupcake party for my little girl coming up in Aug!

  20. Bianca Salmeron says:

I am doing an end of the year party for the band at my kids school. I would love for the theme to be music notes or instruments!

  21. Shannon says:

Ok, so I start my party planning a year in advance so I already have both boys party themes in mind. My 3 year old wants a Superhero birthday using Iron-man, Spiderman, Capt. America and the Incredible Hulk.

My 1.5 year old will have a tailgate birthday party. We are BIG University of Memphis fans. Since his birthday is at the beginning of basketball season, it would be the perfect party for us.

I think I would choose the party package to go with the Tiger tailgate party. I know you would have the CUTEST tigers!

    *Crossing my fingers

  22. Cory says:

Congrats on reaching that many fans! I love your site and your work!! I can’t tell you yet, what design I would do. But I’m always throwing my daughter a HUGE birthday party. Her birthday isn’t until November, so I will probably start brainstorming soon!!

We have six boys and it is not often that I can throw highly decorated parties. I would love to do this for him, he is such a sweet kid and appreciative of everything. It would be great. I wasn’t able to find the “suggest to friends” button so I shared your site with all my friends on FB. Congrats on your current and continued success. All the best.

  29. Christi Shaw says:

If I won…..hmmm….. I would definitely have to ask for a vintage baby doll birthday party for a 5 year old to be! She has forever, since she could walk at all LOVED BABIES! Infact, all that know her know she goes to Preschool at the same Preschool I am a teacher but she would rather help in the baby room than anything else! She carries around many many baby dolls talking to them in the cutest high pitched voice saying things like, “are you okay angel…yes…..you are just perfect!” It has to be the most precious thing EVER to see as a mommy and I just can not wait to have a “baby doll” birthday party! I imagine I’ll have a changing station and birth certificate station and strollers and highchairs….a pediatrician visiting station and pretend play group station…I don’t know but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for you to do it!! 🙂 Hope I win!

  30. Amanda F. says:

A friend is making cutouts of the characters so all her little friends can take pictures and pose as them 🙂 How fun!

  241. Dana Hof says:

I have a boy turning 5 and a girl turning 3 within a couple of weeks of each other in June/July. I really wish I could pull one over on them and pick a really cute original theme, but what’s a mother-in-love to do when they look at you with those big, gorgeous eyes, batting their eyelashes, with a Transformers and Fancy Nancy birthday wish? I’ll take elements from the commercial and play up the colors as much as I can! Wave your paper stripey straw in the air and help save me from the commercial CRUSH!

  242. vicki cooley says:

My mother never got her 80th birthday party due to a hip replacement. I would love to give her a party for her 82nd to make up for her missed party! I would chose a”girlie” floral theme because she loves flowers, especially roses. Congrats on all your fans!!

I think this is a fabulous idea! Not to mention, I really need help with my upcoming party. My mother recently retired from a 40+ year career as an educator, and she will celebrate her 67th Birthday in August. This is a really special birthday to all of us, because this will be the first year that she is officially in remission for breast cancer. She had a long, hard struggle, and I would like to show her how much she is loved with a “Sophisticated Pink” day of celebration. Please help me make this a really special occasion for everyone involved. Thank you.

  265. Sarah Weldon says:

I’m going to be in charge of my niece’s 16th birthday party in the Fall. I would love to have something classic but whimsical and fun. Maybe with black, hot pink, and lime green. 284. Stormi says:

Thank you so much for this giveaway.. I’d take it over an Ipad ANYDAY 😉 I come to your site for inspiration all the time, so this giveaway is a dream come true. My husband was born/raised New Orleans, La and he evacuated to Texas where I met him after Hurricane Katrina. Although New Orleans isn’t the same, “Mardi Gras” is the one thing that makes him feel “at home” so I knew it was the perfect theme for our son’s 2nd birthday party in October. Purple, Green, Gold, Glitter, Masks, Fleur De Lis’ & Food Galore! I’ve never seen a Mardi Gras party pack done before! Thanks for all of your fabulous work. xo Stormi

  285. Maria Davis says:

My daughter will be 5 in a few months and was very specific about what her party theme would be. She is in love with all things PUPPIES. She has designed her cake (I decorate cakes and she apparently thinks I can create anything out of fondant LOL). She picked her colors: brown, white, blue & green! Looking for some fun ways to make this a fabulous celebration and winning this would pretty much guarantee that 🙂

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  286. Heather says:

This is the best giveaway!!! My daughter’s second birthday will be in November (a difficult month for birthday ideas). I was thinking an APPLE theme would be seasonally appropriate and full of possibilities. I know you would have some fun ideas to make the party a visually stunning success.

    Thanks,
    Stephanie

As a mom of three, I can get all the help I can 🙂 My second son is turning 4 in June and his favorite dessert of all time is ice cream. He love it so much. If he could eat that for breakfast, lunch, dinner, he would. I would love to have a party around this theme.

  289. Aimee says:

    Congrats on your 20,000!

I have invites in mind which will say “Our little dear is turning one year,” with a fawn and a vintage floral back drop. Your work on the French Botanical birthday party has been a great inspiration, but of course, you would be able to come up with so much more if I were to be chosen. Thanks for your consideration.

  292. Elizabeth says:

My Daughter Turns 5 In April So We Are Having Her Party The First Weekend In April and I Would Choose A Sunshine Lemonade Them Yellow and White For Her Outdoor Party 🙂 You Are A Inspiration Thank You For Sharing Your Ideas May God Bless You Indeed

  313. Catherine says:

I couldn’t absolutely pin a theme down right now, but I do know what I would use it for . . . my son is autistic and has never had a traditional birthday party with friends etc as it would have only distressed him. However, he’s been working so hard lately and making great progress, including making his first friend, that I’ve been seriously considering just doing a random celebration for him. It would be completely on his terms . . . which means everything about it could be a little unconventional, so the chance for a custom design (he’s not necessarily into typical little boy themes) would be wonderful. He is non-verbal, so the theme and colors would be drawn from whatever clues he gives out at the time about what would make him happy. 🙂

  314. Oh and I meant to add that I would love to do a have a barn yard birthday for my son, he is in love with farm animals. Little red barns, pigs, chickens, cows and such. I am hoping to make a barn cake.

  320. Laura says:

    Congrats! You deserve it!

Since we were overseas for my son’s first 2 birthdays we didn’t really celebrate them in style. I’d love to throw him a fun party when he turns 3 (this September). I’d definitely choose fall colors – heavy on the orange hues and would love the theme to be centered around the book “The Very Hungry Catepillar”. Possibly one of those “dirt” cakes with gummy worms…maybe I could even get some butterflies 🙂

I love this idea and all the inspiration that can be found on your site. I am anxiously awaiting a custom order from you for my daughters ballet themed birthday party When I started reading, I thought… Maybe a vintage high tea party for me and a few friends. Then I saw the “Open to US residents only”. Felling very sad now. I am sure you have many fans from all over the world. In fact, I know you do because you recently featured Arie’s Birthday which was from South America. Just a suggestion… maybe you could open these up to International fans by putting a disclaimer that they must pay for postage. I know I would be happy to. Best of luck to all those who have entered!!! With a hug and a smile to brighten your day!

  350. Christina says:

My daughter loves all disney movies, but tinkerbell was her favorite! I Pixiehollow garden party for outside or inside, depending on the weather would be fun. Little fairey friends all around from ceilings and tree, some working, some playing, some painting…inspired from the movie obviously. How pretty bright and colorful would that be? And if kiddos are playing and take there shoes or sweaters off, don’t know what kid it belongs too. No problem. Make a tink lost and found area and fold it, dust with glitter because Tinkerbell found it. 🙂

We don’t know her actual birth date, (we were asked to choose a day) BUT we will never forget the day we walked into that orphanage and saw the baby girl, we had been waiting for. I’d love to do something special to celebrate her GOTCHA day with our family and friends. Another important event that I’m helping with is in November- ORPHAN Awareness Sunday. I’m totally at a loss and would love some briliant ideas. Congratulations on doin’ the dream!! Happy 20,ooo fans!

  457. Stephanie Gibson says:

My little boy turns 3 in August and he wants a Wonder Pets Party! I am not big into “character” parties so probablly something fun with primary colors and lots of polka dots with some bits and pieces of the characters brought into it!

  458. Helen Walker says:

We’re having our first baby and I’d love this as a baby shower! I’m about to graduate college (my husband and I got married young!) and would love to win a fabulous party like this, since we’re saving up for a possible post-grad move and our baby! Perhaps a sugar, spice, and everything nice theme??

  459. Crystal says:

Ooooh! The next event I’m hosting is a baby shower for a very special cousin. Seven years after their first child was born, she was finally able to conceive again, and our family is THRILLED! She planned my Sock Monkey baby shower, and I really want to go “all out” for her. I’m thinking something stylish, posh, upscale and modern (which matches her taste perfectly)…Although we don’t know if it’s a boy or girl yet. Maybe black and yellow, to match her dream stroller that I’d LOVE to get her, so how about a “BeeBee Shower”?! Done elegantly, of course, and not with an overload of bees! It’s going to be at an Italian restaurant (called Brios), so that could be some of the inspiration!

  460. lanabird says:

Boston Terriers would be so cute. We are having a bridal shower for a friends daughter, and she loves Boston Terriers. (We do too) This is a little strange, but it could be cute! Theirs even won a Halloween costume contest dressed as a Southwest Airlines plane.

She seems to get spolied more than them (but it’s SO much easier to do with a girl lol) and I think this would be perfect for her 4th birthday party in Sept. She’s the last of them for birthdays. She wants Hello Kitty, but I’m not sure you can do that for copyright reasons. If you can, YIPPEE!!! If not, I think a “spa” theme would be adorable! I don’t really want to stick to the “Halloween” type theme that would be so easy to do that time of year. (But I do LOVE orange) So, my idea would be based around orange damask and orange flowers like mums. If we find out she enjoys one animal over another (she’s only four months right now) I’d like to incorporate it, too.
