{As Seen In} Styled. Magazine

I thought I would leave you with some lovely eye candy for the weekend! I recently had the fabulous opportunity to style a photo shoot for Styled. e-magazine. Vicky of A Subtle Revelry {formerly City Cradle} is the mastermind behind this gorgeous publication filled with party inspiration, diy projects and stunning photography. I met Vicky last year at Bloggy Bootcamp and she was sweet as can be! I started following her work and WOW…she is one creative girl. She did such a beautiful job with this magazine, along with photographer/designer, Carly Taylor. These ladies enlisted the help of some serious talent. I am honored to be a contributor alongside fabulous creative ladies like Jenn of Hostess with the Mostess, Melody of My Sweet & Saucy and Camille of Camille Styles. Our fellow party designing friends, Jordan of Polka Dot Prints and Brittany & Sara from One Charming Party created adorable DIY ideas for the issue.

I was part of the Wardrobe to Party feature in the magazine, which was so much fun! I was given a gift card to Macy’s to find an outfit to translate into a party setting.

I found a fabulous floral print top by INC and went from there. Vicky requested that we be in a few of the photos wearing the inspiration outfit. Becki from Whippy Cake did my makeup and hair, which was finished off with one of her gorgeous flower appliques! My sweet Laura of Laura Winslow Photography captured all of the details of the scene beautifully!

Since I was in the photo shoot, I decided to make the theme about all things that I love. I designed a new Printable Party collection, Pink & Gray Monogram and created as if it was my own birthday celebration. I used pink {of course} and used a sophisticated pattern and font.

Delicious desserts were front and center, including macarons from Nicole Lee Fine Chocolates and cupcakes from Modern Cupcake topped with my party circle designs. Paper poms are one of my favorite party decor items and these mini ones are from a Martha Stewart kit made by EK Success. My favorite cake stands from Layla Grayce made an appearance, yet again! My daughter’s Pottery Barn Kids wood “K” came in handy to continue the monogram theme.

Most of my styling props are from my happy place, HomeGoods! I was thrilled to find two of the lovely chairs, which now grace the ends of my dining room table! The pink silk pillows are from HomeGoods as well, and are normally on my living room/studio couch! I’ve had the clock for years, but I’m sure it was HG find, as well!

I made easy paper bunting, both for the background and a mini version for decorating the gorgeous frame from The Vintage Crush.

Pink, monogrammed, girly, sweet, yummy….what more could a girl ask for?
