{Cinco de Mayo} Pottery Barn Style!

Share To:

I thought I would go ahead and share with you the most amazing opportunity I {almost} had with Pottery Barn this week! An event coordinator from Pottery Barn contacted me to help with ideas and printed designs for a Cinco de Mayo themed VIP visit she was working on at their new Scottsdale store. I jumped at the opportunity and spent some time compiling ideas for the table and party designs. I created the inspiration board above using Pottery Barn products, along with some other visuals like margarita cupcakes and succulents based on the direction from the planner. We finalized designs for place cards and cupcake toppers for the event and had Decadent Delights baking up some delicious confections. Unfortunately last minute, direction changed from corporate and the Cinco de Mayo table presentation was no longer happening. I was so SAD! Here are the designs I came up with:

You never know…hopefully they will keep me in mind for future opportunities!
In the meantime, Happy Cinco de Mayo!
I’m off to enjoy a margarita!

  1. Kim, you are amazing!!!! And I’m so bummed for you that the Pottery Barn event didn’t happen. I’m positive more good things are coming your way. 🙂

  2. Well, if nothing else, Pottery Barn has you on their radar! The set is absolutely adorable by the way. It would perfectly compliment an outdoor summer party. 🙂

  3. Kim-PB obviously recognizes amazing talent when they see it! Although it didn’t work out this time, I know they will come to you again soon! Next thing you know, you’ll be designing an entire line of paper party goods for PB! xo

  4. What a shame it didn’t work out. I love the Pottery Barn style (although I can only drool from over here in Australia!) But like Katie said, you are now on their radar and the next time they have an event…you’re the girl!! 🙂 xo

Such a bummer that it didn’t work out, I know it would have looked amazing! You will get another opportunity, they must think you’re pretty incredible (as do we) to have asked you to do it in the first place. Margarita cheers! xoxo

So sorry that the PB table didn’t go as planned … but your designs are BEAUTIFUL, and I just LOVE the font. Congrats!
