Congratulations ladies! I will be emailing you shortly.

And for those of you who didn’t win….don’t fret! Taglio Salon is offering a special to TomKat Studio readers! From now until August 31, Taglio Salon is offering ย $25 off a hair service (e.g., cut or color) along with aย complimentary Kerastase Privilege Hair Analysis and recommended treatment (valued at $35-$50).ย ย Call Taglio Salon atย ย 480-991-6828 to schedule your appointment and be sure to say you are a Taglio Salon/The TomKat Studios fan to get this special offer. *Good for new Taglio Salon guests only.

I was recently invited to an afternoon of pampering at Taglio Salon in North Scottsdale. The timing was perfect because I was in desperate need of “blonding” before my interview with Andrea Robinson on Fox 10 Arizona Morning {and my regular stylist was vacationing in Europe}. I adored the lovely ladies who made my hair pretty. Amy {above right} was my colorist and Sandra {above left} did my cut/style. All of the stylists at Taglio specialize in one or the other, which I thought was a fantastic concept. It makes total sense to me, plus it was fun having a “team” of experts working on me. The owner, Dino was so sweet and welcoming and sent me home with a package full of goodies!

You know that “just stepped out of the salon” feeling? Thatย excitement of everything being in just the right place? It goes beyondย just your hair. It is a paradigm shift in attitude. The โ€œwhere can Iย go tonightโ€ to savor the full benefit of looking so good and feelingย so great.ย Heads are turning for a reason…and from both sides of the fence.ย Good-bye mom look and hello bow-chicka-wow-wow.ย That experience doesn’t have to end when you walk out the door ofย Taglio Salon. So, for one lucky TomKat, hair-obsessedย reader and five ofย her closest hairstyling-challenged girlfriends, all will unite for aย wine and cheese Ladies Night Out at Taglio Salon where secrets of theย pros will be revealed, the ladies’ individual hairstyling-challengesย solved and hands-on, step-by-step instruction will be taught toย recreate salon hairstyling everyday at home. {SO FUN, right?!}

  29. Bonnie says:

I have had several issues with my hair, but I mainly have challenges with it looking healthy, shiny, polished, and alive! Cutting it, coloring it etc. is a matter of choices/decisions but I feel more womanly when my hair has that glow, shimmer or alive look. And as many products I have tried nothing really seems to fit with my hair. I have ‘long thick coarse’ hair (american indian strands) and now I want to make it ‘beautiful’ hair. Please make my hair look great! Make me feel better, and appreciate my locks. So my order is for it to be ‘silky smoth’. Thanks!

  30. Amy P says:

My biggest hair challenge is keeping it smooth. I have wavy hair that seems to be getting frizzier as I get older.

My biggest hair challenge is finding a cute style that doesn’t take forever to “do” every morning. I’m sick of my ponytails :o) I have fine hair but a lot of it. I love hair tips on the website!

  46. Christine A says:

just became a fan of Taglio Salon on facebook

  47. Lorie says:

I have long hair, but absolutely NO IDEA how to style it. I always see cute braid styles with long hair, but I can never seem to style my own.

  48. Leah Sutherland says:

My greatest hair challenge is knowing what looks good with my face shape. Long? Short? And then there is the time factor, and of course living in Arizona, the heat factor.

  49. Andrea says:

My biggest hair challenge is that it’s curly/wavy and sometimes it’s hard to find the right product to manage that all, and a cut that flatters!

  50. Andrea says:

I liked them on FB too! Thanks for the chance to win!!

  51. becca holt says:

Seriously this would be the most amazing thing of my life. My hair problem is thick wavy, sort of curly hair that wants to go all over the place! I try desperately to blow it out and flat iron it but I can never get it like they do at the salon. I would love to know their tricks for my hair!

  52. becca holt says:

Now a FB fan of Taglio Salon

  53. Oh please God, pick me. I am a former hairdresser now stay at home mom…and I look every bit the part. I was so used to the years of being in the salon and having perfect hair that now I can hardly look in the mirror. I look exactly how I DIDN’T want to look when I became a mom. The other day I was so frustrated by my terrible hair i screamed and chucked my brush across the room breaking it..and I cried. I need a change, I need something…I need to feel good about myself again. I am crossing my fingers and toes as I put my poorly home colored hair in a pony tail..again. Thanks guys!

  54. I liked Taglio on Facebook. ๐Ÿ™‚

  55. Yvonne Mendoza says:

What an awesome giveaway…I would LOVE to win! My biggest hair challenge is that I have long hair, but no style. I always wear it the same way and am bored of it…I need a new, modern look! My birthday is in a couple of weeks and it would be awesome to have a fun LADIES NIGHT OUT with my closest girlfriends to celebrate!!!

  56. Yvonne Mendoza says:

I liked Taglio Salon on FB!

  57. Brigitte Means says:

What a fun giveaway! My lifelong hair challenge is that I have fine hair, and I feel like the whenever I see a style that I really want I am told it’s not right for my type of hair. Also, I have two girls and have to be to leave the house by 6am for work, so there is not much time in the morning for styling. Thanks for the opportunity for such an awesome giveaway!

  58. Brigitte Means says:

Like Taglio Salon on FB- Check!

  59. Kerri Anderson says:

I liked them on FB and you can too!!!!! Check it out!
I have found my biggest challenge with my hair is well…I hate to admit it but…GRAY and not a simple gray but the silvery ugly gray I was told part of the reason I might have the gray so bad (I am not even 40…YET) is because I was very ill and had to be on a ton of medications and that could cause it, not sure if that is true or not, but I have it and I HATE it! Also, finding the right color for my skin tone, I get bored easily with my hair and I do like to change it up often; and also (yea I have a few issues) what style works with my face shape, I have been growing my hair out for a year now and it is almost at the length that I want it, just a wee bit longer, but I don’t feel like I have a style, when I had short hair I had a bob, or a stacked bob (you know the style everyone and their mother’s have) and I like to be unique but not TOO unique. Thanks for the opportunity for a FABULOUS give away, it would be a GREAT early b-day present to myself (I turn the BIG 4 0 in Sept), with all the health challenges I have been through the past 2 years….this would make up for it!

  60. Erin says:

    I am a fan!

  61. Hollie says:

My biggest hair problem is only wearing it in a pony tail. Being a mom of three boys full of activities my hair tends to come last. Would love a new look that will get me out of the pony tail rut. Loved the Taglio website and now a fan!

  62. April says:

I am recently all over kinda gray – I retired and decided not to color my hair all the time…but zikes this new gray hair has a mind of it’s own and my old cut doesn’t work anymore! Plus there are remnants of my old color in my hair ! What’s a girl to do without help?

  63. Heather says:

My biggest hair challenge is that my color shows quick. If you pick me and post my comment for the world to see they will know my horrible little secret – I have gray hair! Lots of it! That leads to my second problem – I have dark hair and like it colored even darker. Hello gray! I would love, love, love to chat with the experts about finding the right color to achieve a better balance. Oh, and winning some fun for my friends would be great too!

  64. Heather says:

I’m a new salon fan on FB!

  65. Michelle says:

My life long challenge is my hair is fine.
My current challenge is I turned 50 and still want to look awesome!
I could use something new and fresh so I could use your talent ๐Ÿ™‚
    Anyone winning

  66. Michelle says:

    (whoops! continue here)
…this gift would be so lucky!!

  67. Trisha Wright says:

Biggest Hair Challenge…doing a super sleek blow out. I always get waves in the back and have to flat iron it out regardless of how well I blow dry it. I need some lessons;)

  68. Amy Chase says:

I am a fan on Facebook.

  69. Amy says:

What a fabulous giveaway! My hair dilemma…….. I get my hair to hold curl. It is stick straight and no matter how long I take styling it or how much product I use, it always falls straight.

  70. Lisa says:

Thank you for the giveaway! I have so many hair challenges! I would love to learn some new styling tips.

  71. Mara says:

Please pick me! I have naturally “curly” (more like frizzy) hair that looks great for a week after I get it cut and then turns into a rat’s nest.

  72. Morgan says:

Ditto on the curly hair! Would love some great tips ๐Ÿ™‚

  73. Jessica B says:

My greatest hair challenge is that I just don’t know what to do with my hair. I have had the same style forever but I don’t know what else to do with it. I am willing to change I just need some guidance. Wonderful giveaway!!

  74. Jessica B says:

I am a fan of Taglio Salon.

  75. Alicia says:

    Hi Kim,

Sadly I don’t live in the Phoenix area to enter the fabulous Taglio Salon giveaway. It sounds wonderful! I am wondering where you got the adorable dress you are wearing in the photo? Super Cute!!!

    Thanks

  76. Lindsey Wilson says:

I would love to win this for my Sister-in-law. Her biggest issue is probably that she doesn’t have the time. She became a mommy at the end of ’09 and just gave birth to her second son back in June. She is a great mommy and would love to be pampered. She is local to the Phoenix area.

  78. Frizz/flyaways is my biggest hair challenge! I have naturally curly hair and when in Arizona I can get it down pretty good, but during monsoon season and even a trip to California and my head becomes a big ball of frizz! I love the quote on their site “We’re not just cutting hair, we’re conquering Evil” I swear my hair is evil sometimes ๐Ÿ˜›

  79. I “liked” Taglio Salon on Facebook!

  80. Jenifer says:

I “liked” you on FB too!! I love that you conquer evil!! My hair is evil for sure! Super fine and I am hair tool dyslexic. Most products are too heavy and weigh my hair down rather than give it body. No amount of blowing or curling or straightening will stay for more than 45 minutes. On top of that I’m in my 40’s and in a fashion business but hairdressers always give me soccer mom haircut. Am I really too old to have edge? Ok…that’s my fashion challenge!!! May the most deserving win!!

    Jen

  81. I liked Taglio on Fb:)

  82. My hair is naturally curly, and I always have trouble finding the perfect product and the right cut to style it just right! Thx:)

  83. Christi R. says:

I checked them out! What a great place! Ohh…where do I start! My straight FLAT hair drives me crazy! I would love to be able to style it and not have it go flat in 20 seconds flat!
Thanks for the great contest! Love your blog!
    โ™ฅChristi

  84. Christi R. says:

    โ™ฅ them on Facebook, too!

  85. Andrea says:

My greatest hair challenge is finding the best color and cut to compliment my complexion and face shape. I have tried many and they are all ok, but not the “one”.

  86. Andrea says:

Officially a fan of Taglio Salon ๐Ÿ™‚

  87. amykay says:

biggest hair challenge… finding time to spend on it with a crazy toddler running around! so i guess quick easy cute styles ๐Ÿ™‚

  88. amykay says:

    like taglio salon on fb!

  89. My greatest hair challenge…not having a stylist to do my hair every day thus putting it up with a clip or pony tail!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  90. I became a fan on facebook!! ๐Ÿ™‚ XOXO

  91. Bory R. says:

What a great giveaway! My biggest hair challenge is that I have long, limp, dull, dead locks. Seems like my hair never did outgrow the home perm that my mom insisted I get during the 5th grade. I would love to get a new hairstyle that I can control! Because right now, it’s in a bun – all the time!

  92. Bory R. says:

I am (now) a fan on Taglio Salon’s Facebook!

  93. My biggest hair issue is the weight of it. I have so much hair!

  94. I’m now a fan of Taglio Salon on Facebook!

  95. Amy Nicole says:

I am now a fan on FB! …my biggest challenge is getting my hair to GROW…THICK & BEAUTIFUL hair. I am trying to grow it but want it to look good LONG! (also, would love to get a little pampered!) tehe! ๐Ÿ˜‰
