Life's a Beach :: Cupcake Monday
Happy Monday! I just returned from a little getaway to Mexico with my hubby and friends! The sun, the beach…the margaritas sure do put me in the mood for summer! I thought I would share a few “beach” cupcakes to get you in the mood for summer, too! (above: my hubby’s birthday cupcakes last year, shark cupcakes via martha, cupcakes from tommy’s 4th birthday}
We stayed in a gorgeous oceanfront condo, thanks to my party blogging friend, Michelle from Maddycakes Muse! We love Rocky Point and it’s just a 3.5 hour drive from Phoenix. I wish we had a few more days there to relax and recover (too many tequila shots)….but, it’s time to get back to work!

Super pretty cupcakes!! If I can ever get my son off of his spongebob obsession I’d like to try a more grown-up maritime theme like this!! In the meantime, though, I turn out some awesome kids’ cupcakes…I found this super-cute SpongeBob cupcake stand kit that goes perfectly with those pretty aquamarine icing colors…Hopefully one day I’ll be eating these on the beach myself!
