A Peek into the New TomKat Studio Shop…
It’s open. It’s ready. Let’s do this.
I know, I know. All I talk about these days is our new retail shop. But what can I say?! My focus has been 100% there for the past 2 weeks, working all hours of the night (and day) getting it ready to open! Everyone around me has been so, so supportive. The TomKat girls have been working endless hours right alongside me to get everything up and running. (Did I mention we launched our new shop website yesterday, too?) My husband has seriously been super-dad, taking on full responsibility for every moment of the kids’ schedule including getting them where they need to be, morning routines, bedtime routines, you name it. The kids probably started to think I was on a two week long vacation. (ya, right…I wish!) Oh, and we found out today that we are officially in escrow on a new house, closing in two weeks. (yes, yet another house. it’s a long story. stay tuned.)
Breathe. Now that the shop is open and the new online shop is up and running (woohoo!), I’ll be getting back to blogging and sharing our “normal” inspiration and projects! Were you wondering if we’ve done anything at all this year for Halloween? Don’t worry, we sure did….back in June. It’s coming….I promise….and it’s good stuff.
But first…let me share a few more posts about the new shop, K? Thanks. I know it isn’t that exciting if you don’t live in Phoenix, but maybe I will entice you to book a weekend getaway at one of the fabulous resorts we have here. You can come visit me at the shop? We can send your husband golfing or to the casino nearby. He’ll be fine for a few hours, while we craft and plan a party. Sound good?
Rennai came by yesterday to snap a few photos to show you all how things are coming along. Becki and Janey happened to stop by (I swear it wasn’t planned) and I had them model for a few “shopper” photos because I mean, why wouldn’t I? They are so darn cute.
