Decorating The New Shop | Wall Art…
As a brand ambassador for Shutterfly Home Decor, it is my job to create new projects on a regular basis that inspire you to think outside the box to make unique, original creations using Shutterfly. Lucky me! So many people I talk to about Shutterfly have no idea about all of the amazing, high-quality products they offer and how creative you can get with them by using not only photos, but graphic designs and illustrations. I hope you have enjoyed all of the projects I have created over the past year and half and that my projects have inspired you to create your own!
This month, my focus has been completely on preparing our new retail shop to open! It officially opened last week! (read more here) As we were preparing the space, I chose white shelving from for the main wall of the shop. Once the shelves went up I knew we would need something to add visual height to the space. My black and white striped wall created a gorgeous focal point but I wanted to balance it with the rest of the space. I knew black and white graphics or images as wall art would be perfect!
I love Shutterfly’s mounted wall art and I decided to go with the largest available size – 24″ x 36″ and showcase photos of my styling work from our previous photo shoots. The tough part was trying to decide which photos to showcase! As you can see, I chose photos with a strong contrast of black and white, most with some sort of pop of pattern. (and of course, one with my darling daughter, Kate!)
When the wall art arrived, I was absolutely giddy opening each one. The quality by far exceeded my expectations. Someone even walked in the store and asked if they could purchase one!
They turned out AMAZING!
I am so pleased with the wall art and it will be easy for me to order more when I decide to switch up the photos to feature in the shop!
