New Year’s Eve Party + Cricut Explore Giveaway…

Share To:

We recently styled this New Year’s Eve celebration using the Cricut Explore and are so excited to share the projects with you today! This was our first time utilizing the new Cricut® “Print Then Cut” function and you are going to LOVE it! When I met with the fabulous team at Cricut last year, one of the first things I asked was when would they have the option to print and cut! As a printable designer, I have longed for an easy way to cut both simple and intricate shapes after printing my designs. I got a “wink” from a few Cricut team members, including the CEO. I knew it was coming…

cricut print and cut

…and it’s here.. and it’s amazing! You can now print designs on your color printer at home, and then send them through your Cricut Explore to cut around the images. The design files are setup with register marks that the Explore reads to determine where to cut based on the design. With a few simple set-up steps (see instructions here) you can get your Explore ready to create full-color, custom designs! The possibilities for printables are endless with this new feature and software. Cheers!

For this New Year’s Eve party, I created 10 projects, some that utilize the Print Then Cut system, and some that are simple cuts on the Explore.

I started with a printable “Cheers!” invitation design. You can add your text to the design, then print and cut! You’ll need 5.75″ x 5.75″ square envelopes for mailing.  Make it Now

Every party needs a banner. With the Print Then Cut system, this “Happy New Year” banner is so easy to create. Make it Now

These “Celebrate” Tags can be used for so many things at your New Year’s Party (or other party for that matter)! We used them to add a little cuteness to mini champagne bottles. Make it now

Make these darling 3D star drink stirrers in minutes using silver glitter paper + fun striped straws. Make it Now

Celebrate with cake! Whether you order a cake, or make your own at home, dress it up with this adorable silver glitter “Cheers! 2015” cake topper. Make it Now

Light up the night with sparklers when the clock strikes twelve! These cute holders are perfect for handing out during the party, or send them home with guests as party favors! Make it Now

Set up a photo booth at your New Year’s Eve party and make these cute signs for your guests to pose with! Make it now

Cue the Confetti! Create these adorable confetti tubes, using these clear tubes and cut tissue paper. For the perfect finishing touch, add our “when the clock strikes midnight” tags! Make it now

Need something to wear to the party? Make this Best Year Ever Tee, using Cricut silver glitter iron-on. Make it Now

With just a few basic craft supplies, you can make these adorable star headbands for your guests to wear! Make it Now

We hope you love our New Year’s Eve projects! Here’s wishing you the BEST year ever!
