Today we are sharing the third mantel design we styled for our feature, One Mantel, Three Ways for the Holidays for DIY Network! This one has a casual, rustic, outdoorsy feel and fits beautifully with a white or wood mantel. To achieve this look, incorporate reclaimed wood, burlap and pine to create a rustic feel. We created 3 easy DIY projects that you can easily recreate to dress up your own holiday mantel. Also, be sure to check out our glam holiday mantel ideas here and our traditional mantel ideas here.

We created this simple wood reindeer art using reclaimed wood, our reindeer printable template and paint. Super easy!

We love bay leaf garlands and wreaths for the holidays! However, they aren’t always easy to find so we decided to make a paper version of our own! Use the step by step instructions here to create one for your mantel or banister!

I used the ‘Give Thanks’ banner for Thanksgiving and hated to take it down. I was so happy to see this today. Just printed and replaced the letters. Thanks!

I LOVE this mantle! I liked all three, but this is my favorite. Absolutely gorgeous, Kim! I may have to try doing the “paper bag” garland … genius!

    Hi Mike,
I’m not sure, but the owner painted the original stone white.
