Looks pretty tasty, right?
Tip #1: Add decor from your home for an easy way to spruce up your party spread! We love adding a little bit of themed decor to any party, like this darling felt letter board! We used it to list some of our favorite football terms! Then we added a little bit of a personal touch by displaying it with one of my father-in-law’s old football trophies! It was the perfect addition!
Tip #2: These modern + simple free printable designs are such a great addition to your big game celebration! Get everyone excited for the big game by sending out invitations. These food labels are always so helpful when people are deciding what foods they want to try! (Even though with this spread, they’ll want to try them all!) Download the printables here
Tip #3: Food! We all know that one of the best things about the “big game” is the amazing food! We’re sharing some fabulous recipes and ideas to make your party a success! Start with these delicious Teriyaki Chicken Empanadas using Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce. They are sure to be a big party hit! They’re easy to make and even easier to eat. They’ll have you going back for more before you know it!
Let’s see how to make them…
Teriyaki Chicken Empanadas
Makes approximately 2 1/2 dozen
1 chicken breast
1 cup Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce, plus extra for serving
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1 pkg (2 sheets) premade pie crust
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1/4 cup mix of red and yellow bell peppers, chopped
In a bowl, mix the chicken breast with Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce, black pepper, garlic powder and ginger. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours.
When ready, broil the chicken on high heat in a pan lined with foil and coated with nonstick spray. The pan should be on a rack that sits closest to the broiler. Cook on one side for 10 minutes. Then flip the chicken and broil on the other side for 10 minutes. Remove the chicken from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature before shredding the meat with forks. Use the reserved pan juices to coat the shredded chicken; set aside.
Set the oven to 400°F.
Roll out the pie crust on a lightly floured surface. Use a 3-inch cookie cutter to stamp out rounds. Ball up the excess dough and roll out with a rolling pin to create as many rounds as possible.
Fill each pie crust round with chicken, green onions and bell peppers. There might be some filling left over, depending on the number of rounds you have.
Whisk the egg in a bowl and brush it on the edges of the rounds. Fold each in half and use a fork to crimp the edges. Brush with egg and bake for 15 minutes.
Serve the empanadas with Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce for dipping.
Tip #4: Who doesn’t love a good cheese ball at party? They’re perfect to snack on! We came up with a delicious Asian-inspired cheese ball recipe that is filled with green onions, wasabi, Kikkoman® Soy Sauce, ginger, garlic and sesame oil! Sounds delicious, right?
Let’s see how easy it is to make!

1/4 tsp Kikkoman® Sesame Oil
2 tbsp Kikkoman® Soy Sauce
1 1/2 cups green onions, chopped and separated
2 sheets nori, cut into small pieces with scissors
2 tbsp mix of black and white roasted sesame seeds
1 – 2 pkgs rice crackers
In a bowl, mix the cream and goat cheese with a fork until thoroughly combined. Mix in the Kikkoman® Wasabi Sauce, Kikkoman® Soy Sauce, ginger, garlic and Kikkoman® Sesame Oil. Fold in a 1/2 cup of green onions.
Transfer the cheese mix to a sheet of plastic wrap. Form into a ball. Use more plastic wrap as needed. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Tip #5: Add a few additional finger foods to round out your table and flavors. Sliders are perfect for sports watching parties! They’re perfect size to grab and go back to watching the game!
Tip #6: Popcorn is a party essential! We added a little Asian flavor to go along with our party theme and made a Matcha Popcorn with a Dark Chocolate Drizzle!
Tip #7: Don’t forget dessert! Brownies are always a crowd favorite, and if you add a caramel and nuts, they are sure to be devoured in no time!
Tip #8: Moscow mules are so delicious and so popular right now! The copper mugs instantly add style and fun to any gathering! Garnish with mint and lime and you’ve got a refreshing drink everyone will enjoy!
