As you probably know, we love sharing our favorite products from Floor & Decor with you! It’s our go-to place for our remodel projects, especially because the selection, pricing and availability is second-to-none. We can order what we need and pick up the same day!

Today, we are talking about cement tile! Cement tile has been trending now for a few years, and we are addicted. This patterned tile gives spaces such a eye-catching pop that we find so many rooms to use it in. While we have sourced and used many patterns of cement tile in our projects, one of our favorites is the Equilibrio Black Encaustic Cement Tile from Floor & Decor. It is a gorgeous, versatile cement tile that makes a huge statement in any space. It is no secret that we love to use a good patterned tile, and we were so excited when Floor & Decor introduced this cement tile for a great price, making it a go-to for our projects on a budget.

We featured this gorgeous tile in multiple projects because it’s just that good! We absolutely love to use this tile with white finishes for a beautiful contrast, like in this stunning kitchen at our #TomkatGriswold project!

We wanted to give this light and airy kitchen some added character, and using the Equilibrio Black Encaustic Cement Tile was the perfect way to achieve that!

We loved using this tile so much in our other remodel projects that we had to have it in our own last house! This tile made the perfect focal point in our kitchen accompanied by a custom stained hood to match!

We also tied it in to our butler’s pantry for added charm and character! We love how this tile add’s so much interest when paired with simple white cabinets.

By using this gorgeous tile on the floor in our pool bathroom, we were able to keep the existing wood cabinets because they paired so nicely together. We love a good black, white and wood combo!

It’s safe to say that we have absolutely love incorporating the Equilibrio Black Encaustic Cement Tile from Floor & Decor. We love it’s character, style and especially it’s unbeatable price! If you’re in the market for a beautiful cement tile, we highly recommend checking out your local Floor & Decor!

I have a quick question. I love this tile and have been thinking of using it my new kitchen. I found it at floor and decor several months ago and then found your post when I went searching for installation ideas. Being cement it is thicker than porcelain tiles. How did you accommodate for this level change using it behind the range? I was thinking I’d have to do the whole wall to avoid a lip. Also can you tell me what is that white tile you used for the rest of the rest of the backsplash. Thanks.

    Hi Anna,
To make the subway tile flush with the patterned tile, my installers added backer board behind it. I used Floor & Decor Bright White Ice subway here.

Hi! Love this look! Can I ask what the gorgeous flooring is in the butler pantry and the picture with the wood hood? Thanks!
