We are so excited to share another party theme we created in partnership with Zoës Kitchen! If you missed our other themes so far, check out our Girls’ Night In and Game Day Celebration posts. For this Vintage Circus Birthday Party theme, we took the celebration outdoors and created a fun and colorful event to remember! With Zoës Kitchen Kids’ Party Pack, our free Circus Party Printable Collection and our tips + party decor ideas, you can create your own memorable event in honor of your little one!
Tip #1: Start collecting fun items that will tie in the vintage circus theme. These rolls of tickets are easy to find in a rainbow of colors and add a fun touch to your party display. Plastic animals can be found at your local craft store. Dress them up for the party by making teeny tiny party hats for them using paper and a small pom pom.
Tip #2: For perfect presentation, cut Zoës sandwiches into small pieces and wrap with parchment paper and twine. This size is perfect for little hands!
Tip #3: Serve fresh fruit in colorful paper cups and display on a multi-tiered stand topped with a party animal!
Tip #4: What’s a birthday party without cake? Yaya’s chocolate cake from Zoës Kitchen is absolutely amazing and perfect for any celebration! Cut into small pieces, layer on a cake stand and add our printable flags for a sweet touch!
Tip #5: Chocolate chip cookies from Zoës Kitchen are so delicious, your guests will probably want to have cake and cookies, too!
Tip #6: Don’t forget the party favors! These mini gumball machines are the perfect parting gift for the Vintage Circus theme! Using colorful twine, add our free printable “Thank You” tags!
Tip #7: Mini Bunting adds color and style to the party! Hang on the back of chairs or anywhere on your party display to add a pop of color. Download and print it here.
Tip #8: For place settings, mix and match fun striped plates, napkins, cups, straws and more!
Tip #9: Printable party designs always add the perfect touch to any celebration or gathering. Download all of these free printable designs here.

Such a fun display! I especially love the mini-banners on the back of the chairs and the rolls of tickets as a stand 🙂

Kim,
I love the way you styled the fireplace!!!! I have a two sided fireplace in my den and on the back deck. I really need to use the fireplace more for styling in party situations. It makes for a great backdrop. Thanks for reminding me!

I love the fact Zoe’s offers a catering party pack for kid’s birthdays! The food for parties always seems to be a challenge and this makes it so easy! Love your printables and all the party animals….and no scary clowns in site!! 🙂
