Pumpkins, leaves, skeletons, ghosts, oh my. We are so excited for Fall which means it’s nearly time to celebrate two of our favorite holidays, Halloween and Thanksgiving. We’ve come up five awesome decorating ideas for HGTV that easily transition from Halloween to Fall.

With a few basic supplies from your favorite craft store, you can easily assemble this wreath to dress up your home for Halloween! This was a fun and easy DIY project using unfinished wood letters and a wood shutter purchased from a local craft store. Simply paint the letters and attach with mounting squares to add a cute Halloween element that can easily be switched out with the word “Fall”, after Halloween is over.

Add a festive touch to decorative lanterns by filling them with seasonal accents. Metal and glass lanterns are ideal for viewing the contents inside. For Halloween, creepy skulls are the perfect filler!
