Birthday Party Themes for Boys :: HGTV

In December, I was contacted by an editor at HGTV to write and style four boy’s birthday themes for a feature article for their website! I also worked on an article for Creating Dessert Tables {see here} and one for Girl’s Birthday Party themes {I’ll be posting details soon!}. Styling photo shoots is truly my favorite part of this business, so it is such an honor to work with HGTV on these projects! I decided on the four themes {with some help from our Facebook Fans} and went to work! The new themes include Candy Circus, Vintage Cowboy, Golf & Pirate! The talented Laura of Laura Winslow Photography captured all of the details beautifully! Here are a few peeks at each theme, and then head over to HGTV and view the article for more!

{Candy Circus Birthday Party}
This collection was inspired by our Lollipop Collection for Girls. We are constantly asked about doing a boy version of the popular theme! We think these designs would work perfectly for a Boy Circus themed party, too! Just add candy and sweets!

{Golf Birthday Party}
This green, navy and white theme is sure to please even the littlest golfer in your family! We used polka dots to represent the shape of golf balls! The green polka dot fabric I purchased at Ikea for a prior shoot was perfect for this setup!

{Pirate Birthday Party}
Ahoy Mateys! Always a popular theme, a Pirate Party is a little bit spooky but a whole lot of fun! Use treasure boxes, coins, pearls and skulls to decorate this theme. Cupcakes with fondant skulls and skull shaped cookies are the perfect treats for this party!

{Vintage Cowboy Birthday Party}
Yee Haw! We are always getting requested for a boy version of our popular Vintage Cowgirl theme, so we are thrilled to launch this collection! Start with a red, blue and brown color scheme, add a little burlap and fun decorated cookies and your cowboy will be thrilled!
