Would anyone who has used both the Cricut and the Silhouette machines care to make a recommendation? I purchased a Cricut on Friday but am starting to think the Silhouette may be a better choice. All advice is appreciated!
and, if you have a silhouette, can you tell us if it's mac compatible? i've been reading lots of things that say it's not, but the FAQ on the website says it is?

Thank you so much for the discount code!!! I too have been wanting this but it had to be at the right price and this is definitely the right price at $100 off and free product!! It is MAC compatible…it wasn't until about two months ago but, if you have a MAC or a PC you will be fine. I have a Cricut and have loved it but, the Silhouette will be more versatile and cost effective since you can purchase just those fonts/items you want instead of buying a Cricut cartridge for $60 and only using parts of it. I have never used even 1/2 of what is offered on each cartridge. I'm so excited to get this!!!!

Stephanie – I have used both. I am obsessed with fonts, which is why I love the Silhouette. You can use all of your own fonts without having to buy cartridges. You can also download the templates that you want to use, and most are $1. My fave templates are the favor boxes!
