Remember these ADORABLE favor boxes from Chloe’s Flower Garden Party? Well, the talented Lindsay from Banner Boutique has been gracious enough to share this tuturial for Favor Boxes with us! They are super cute and super easy!
From Lindsay…
These fabulous favors are great because you can use ANY kind of 12 x 12 paper to make them, allowing you to get a PERFECT match for any occasion…not to mention, they are SUPER inexpensive…and we LOVE inexpensive…gives us more money to spend on all the other party goodies!
Supplies you will need: Empty toilet paper roll, 12 X12 paper, double stick tape, paper cutter, paper crimper, favor tag {from TomKat Studio, of course} if you would like to add it.
1.) Cut 12 x 12 paper in half and then half again leaving you with a 6 x 6 inch piece of paper
2.) Roll the 6 inch square of paper around the empty toilet paper roll and secure to other side of paper using double sided tape.
3.) Slide the paper off of the toilet paper roll.
4.) Squeeze together one side of the tube, secure with another piece of double sided tape. Fill with candy or any other small treat. Do the same for the other side except change the direction when you secure it so it ends up opposite of the other end.
5.) Place each end in the crimper and roll part way through and then back out again to get a crimped edge on each side.
6.) To attach tag, punch a hole in the top and then secure tag with ribbon.
Thanks Lindsay! You are FABULOUS! Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for sharing Kim (and Toni) XOXO 🙂
So cute! Instead, I used 4×6 pics as the paper for my son’s 1st birthday party favors. You just need to be careful about the location of the face. It allowed us to share a variety of pictures and the guests liked it too!
Lynn – That is such a cute idea, too!!
Wow. I’ve always thought those were made with one of those expensive heat sealers! I’ve been looking for an inexpensive way to package some gumboils for my daughter’s bubble-themed party. This may just be it. I’m kind of hoping for clear-ish though. Maybe some vellum paper?
Who would have thought you could use a toilet paper roll for something this cute 🙂 The garden party idea is perfect with summer coming up too!
love love love! what a great idea! can’t wait to try this out! thank you for sharing!
