Happy Cupcake Monday! Glory of Glorious Treats here with a cupcake recipe you’ll want to use again and again! Baking is always a bit of a science experiment, and it took me quite a few tries to find a combination of ingredients I was really happy with to create a light, fluffy and flavorful vanilla cupcake. This recipe is a perfect base for a simple buttercream frosting, some sprinkles and a TomKat Studio topper of course!
Head on over to Glorious Treats for the recipe for these Perfect Vanilla Cupcakes.
Happy Baking!

Do you have a buttercream recipe that you recommend?
Misty- I love to use my cream cheese frosting the most often (posted here, http://glorioustreats.blogspot.com/2010/02/cream-cheese-frosting-recipe.html ) If you’d like less cream cheese flavor, you can use just 1/2 block of cream cheese and increase the butter to 1 cup total, or use no cream cheese, with 1 cup butter, for a true American Buttercream.
WOWEE… I wish I could reach through my monitor and pluck one of those from their stands for a tasty late morning treat!!!
I love the color of those cupcake wrappers! The buttercream and sprinkles look delicious too!

I agree – the irridescent sprinkles, the lavender liners – simplistic elegance (not too mention I’m sure they taste FAB!!)
how in the world do you get the perfect cupcake cups? mine always…i suppose “fold” inward..
So cute . I would like to showcase them on my cupcakes recipes & ideas blog if you agree.
