I am so excited to share our latest project for Pottery Barn Kids with you today! In February, Molly, Toni and I traveled to San Francisco to style this fun “Time To Grow” Gardening Party for Pottery Barn Kids. It was such an amazing experience. I’ll be sharing more of the behind the scenes details soon, but in the meantime…here are all of the details!
We filmed an overview video for all of the elements of the party.
I designed a preppy green, navy and yellow printable set that is available for free download. It includes a seed packet invitation design, party circles (cupcake toppers), food labels/place cards and pinwheel templates.
We created step-by-step craft tutorials on potterybarnkids.com for the seed packet invitations and pinwheels.
We share two recipe ideas in the feature, including dirt pudding cups (inspired by martha) and carrot cake cupcakes (recipe by Annie’s Eats).
The location for the shoot was absolutely perfect and stunning. You may recognize it from the Pottery Barn Kids catalog.
We prepared healthy lunch buckets for the children’s seating table. The buckets included a turkey wrap, granola bar and banana. We used grass mats for place mats and embellished the buckets with burlap ribbon and a printable party circle. We used printable labels with each child’s name attached to a dowel for each place setting.
Mason jars are always popular for beverages and fit this outdoor theme beautifully. We tied jute twine around the jar and added yellow and green straws.
The potters bench from Pottery Barn Kids was the perfect addition to the party for an activity. The kids each potted a plant and stamped their names on wooden sticks as a party favor to take home.
The kids were so adorable and had a great time at the shoot! We were thrilled to have this amazing opportunity and are looking forward to our next projects with Pottery Barn Kids!

Hi, after reading this awesome post i am too delighted to share my familiarity here with
mates.
Yep I do anything myself, however. I really ought to start out outsourcing components of this but I am a
control freak for good quality so do not know how well undertaking so would work.
But about the remaining 5% it can be genuinely not that many maybe 10 posts/day
at most, which is not undesirable thinking about the
hundreds each day I got ahead of.
Hi Kim, I love this idea of a party and was thinking of giving the recipes you linked to a quick try to see If I wanted to use them – especially the carrot cake cupcakes but the links do not work? Could you find them for me. Thanks so much! ( please email me back because I won’t get the message here) thanks again 🙂
