With this hot weather and the kids out of school, we’ve been enjoying lots of ice cream lately! So this week, I’m declaring it “Ice Cream Party Week” at The TomKat Studio and we’ll be sharing ideas all week for hosting ice cream parties! As usual, we are starting the week with Cupcake Monday. Yes! We couldn’t agree more–’tis the season for ice cream for sure! We designed a cute ice cream parlor invitation theme awhile ago for a customer and after seeing the party photos from that event, may have to throw an ice cream party! Too bad our kid’s birthdays aren’t in the summer…ha ha! Maybe we will throw an adult ice cream party, why not?!

I love the idea of using muffin tins for serving ice cream to bigger crowds of hungry little people 🙂 . I have usually 5-6 in the house having a need to munch on a cool snack and that is a great way to skip the waiting in line!

I know this is wrong, but I desperately want to stick my face in the mint chocolate chip ice cream cupcakes. They look scrumptious. The pastel colour scheme is super sweet too.
