When Amber of Damask Love sent over this amazing idea for making gorgeous bows from our gold and silver twine, I nearly fell off my chair. They are so gorgeous!
‘Tis the season to be…glittery! Amber Kemp-Gerstel here and I am thrilled to share a project using the TomKat Studio Shimmer Twine. It’s the perfect pairing of neutral and sparkle. We’ve all seen twine used to tie pretty bows, but today I have a project that takes that idea to a new level. With just the gold or silver twine, craft glue and a mason jar, you can create a showstopper embellishment that is a gift in itself.
Join me at my blog, Damask Love for all the details on this project including a video tutorial! I’ll also share the contents of this gift box. Here’s a hint: there’s more glitter inside!
Thank you so much, Amber for sharing! We look forward to seeing more creative ideas from you!

Love this…just beautiful!
Also, I have been wanting to do something for the Newton community and I am so glad to be able to donate to drawn together…what a WONDERFUL, positive, beautiful idea Amber! I will try my best over the kid’s break to have them each design and write a card that we can send in also. Thanks SO much for doing this! I would assume many others, like me, want to do something…that shows we care about each and every person that has been affected, and this is such a great idea. Gives me goose bumps….
So beautiful Kim. Happy holidays and best wishes xoxo
