As I mentioned previously, we didn’t end up getting to do our full shoot for Valentine’s Day ideas this year. The flu knocked me down and it just got too late. However, I was dreaming of a red and linen/burlap inspired shoot after I bought this ADORABLE pillow on Joss + Main. (Lucky for you, it’s back on there today! Go get it for next year!)

Molly from the TomKat team and photographer, Jessica Downey came over last week and we put together a quick and easy setup to display some of the ideas we had this year!

Molly made an easy doily heart garland. She used double-sided tape to attach heart doilies to our red/white twine. Sweet!

I baked vanilla cupcakes in our red/white polka dot baking cups, frosted with our french icing tip and my fave Better Crocker frosting. We embellished them with cupcake toppers made from our heart stickers and toothpicks! The cupcakes and cookies are displayed on our white cake stands and tied with jute twine.

You may have already seen these super cute glittered heart bags we made. Decorated muslin bags are really popular on the party scene right now because they are really easy to embellish and so cute! The full tutorial and template is available here.

We ordered yummy heart cookies from The Cookie Jar for our shoot that was cancelled, but we were so glad we could show them off here! Lisa is so talented and can create cookies to match any of our party themes…and yes, she ships! Visit her shop here.

Our red striped plates, polka dot napkins (coming soon!) and red heart spoons were a perfect match for this treat table!
