Hello again crafty friends! I’m back with another simple, creative idea for making the most of your supplies from the TomKat shop! Today’s tutorial is quick one that you can make in just minutes…perfect for gifts or even just a little something special for yourself! If you’re anything like me, sewing is not your friend. Over the last few years, I’ve taught myself to sew in a “sorta” straight line, but I don’t think I’ll be launching a clothing line any time soon. Most sachet projects require sewing, but luckily this approach will save you all the frustration of battling with your sewing machine.
{1} Mix together the rice and dried lavender. Doing this creates more bulk in your sachet and allows you to stretch the usability of your dried lavender.
{2} Place the mix in the muslin cloth. Muslin cloth is ideal for a project like this, since it is thin enough to allow the scent though, tightly woven so nothing will spill out.
{3} Gather the edges of the cloth to create a bundle and tie off with baker’s twine.
{4} Place the bundle inside a small muslin bag to make a pretty presentation. If you’d like, you can even add some stamped images like I did to these!
You can find the muslin bags here in The TomKat Studio Shop!

I love the design on the muslim bags. I have never stamped before and would love to do this for my DIL’s wedding. Is there a turorial that will show me how to do this and where did you purchase the stamps please?
