Our latest project for Pottery Barn Kids is published! If you have a boy celebrating a birthday soon, you are going to love this party feature! This Vintage Airplane Birthday Party was inspired by airplane room decor I spotted in the upcoming (now current) issue of the PBK catalog! I started by having a custom airplane graphic designed by my favorite illustrator and then incorporated it into a new free printable collection. I wanted a modern, boyish color theme and chose navy and gray, which looked great against the Hudson Trestle Table & Chairs. For this party theme, we came up with creative dessert ideas/recipes, easy party craft tutorials and a game that your guests are sure to love! Check out all of the photos and then visit Pottery Barn Kids to learn how to create this party!

All things are awesome in this airplane birthday party especially cake toppers, other foods and the party decoration. I really love this vintage airplane party.
Pretty! This was a really wonderfuyl post. Many thanks for supplying these details.
I love everything! Just in time for my daughters birthday party at the air museum. Could you please tell me where I can get the place mats?
Thanks!
We bought maps and cut them up for the place mats! Super easy! ! Toni@TKS
Thanks for the info Toni!! This map is beyond perfect since my baby girl was a Brooklyn born baby. So all of this would complete her Air museum party. If you could possibly point me in the direction of where you purchased the maps (i.e website or store?)that would be amazing and super helpful. I’m having no luck finding similar on my own. Thanks a million!
Ariana found the paper at papersource.com
Here is a link but I am not sure if they currently sell the same exact paper we used for the shoot.

Hi Sarah,
We used wrapping paper to make them, but you could cut them from actual maps too! http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin/paper/item/Brooklyn-Map-Wrapping-Paper/3650.040/448782.html
