Darling and delicious recipe from our fabulous contributor, Joanna…
Before we head into Fall, let’s celebrate summer! There’s something so wonderful about summer birthdays. Maybe it’s the happiness that comes from cooling off with an ice cream party or the overuse of colorful sprinkles that simply bring us joy. Regardless, I love this time of year. Despite the heat, summer is when I spend more time with family and friends as well as celebrate my birthday! And this year I’m happy to celebrate it with all of you. Let’s wish all the summer kids a wonderful birthday and share a sip of my Birthday Cake Milkshake. Enjoy!
Birthday Cake Milkshake
Serves 2
Ingredients
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
2 scoops Cool Whip Frosting
1 cup milk
2 tbsp white vanilla cake mix (I used Pillsbury)
Cool Whip
rainbow sprinkles
Directions
In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, frosting, milk and cake mix. Blend until combined.
Pour the milkshake into two glasses. Top with Cool Whip and sprinkles.
Yummy!

That is my favorite flavor, too! I love banana anything! Have to try it ;_0
My goodness, this looks heavenly! I’ve never thought birthday cake-flavored ice creams or shakes were anything special, but I may have to reconsider…
I have absolutely no idea what cool whip frosting is supposed to be but it sounds delish!
will bookmark this for when i’ll move somewhere where we don’t cook things from scratch. *rolls eyes*
