My friend, Kelly from The Party Dress recently asked me to share a tradition we have to mark the important milestones that our children have. She just published her new online magazine, Baby by WH Hostess featuring her latest designs, along with tons of inspiration for baby showers, sip-and-sees and first birthdays! I shared the memory boxes I bought when Tommy and Kate were born. They are filled with small mementos from when they were babies, along with invitations and photos from each birthday celebration and other important items.
I love that the boxes have a window to create a collage of items on top.
I found the boxes at Things Remembered, so the boxes also have the option to personalize the plaque on the top!
Aren’t they sweet?
The kids love getting out the boxes occasionally and going through them!
xoxo, Kim

Those are the sweetest! I love this idea, I have a ton of stuff saved from when my babies were small. What a beautiful way to display them all.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea!!! My daughter is 2 but I think I will go back and create one of these for all her special items. So glad you posted this!
These are so sweet! I’m due with a baby girl in November and I have all sorts of ideas on how to save mementos — baby book, boxes, shadow box elements, etc. — but I love how these incorporate a lot of those elements in one place.
OH KIM, I am so stealing this idea! I have all the kid’s baby goodies in some pretty, but plain archival boxes, so I think I will step it up and do this! My kid’s also love to go through their baby boxes….so fun! I love that the front’s have the engraved name plates….so sweet! And, I can’t wait to order the new magazine from Kelly!
Amazing work! Such a cutie one… One of my personal favorite event. I’ll definitely try this one .. soon 😉
Thank you, Kim, for sharing your wonderful tradition with us! xo
Loved this so much, went to order them and they are out! Boo! Great idea, hope they bring them back. Thanks for sharing.
