Happy Weekend!
I apologize for my delay in new posts!
I’ve been busy voting for the Best Crafty Mommy Blog on The Bump!
(feel free to pop over and add your votes, contest ends Monday!)
I’ve also been busy fulfilling new orders since I reopened the shop!
Oh, and moving and getting settled in the new house!

Tonight, I’m bringing you the best ideas I’ve been seeing around the web that would be perfect for a swanky Halloween Party!

Typically I decorate for halloween but this year since we just moved and everything is still in boxes I let the girls pick out some festive gels for the windows at Target.

  2. Sarah says:

I like to decorate my house with "skeleton bling". I got a lot of the stuff at the dollar store and the rest at local craft stores.

  3. Ashley says:

My husband is the one who really gets into Halloween, and since he is in Afghanistan our house won't be decked out this year for Halloween ~ I do the fall stuff, he does the Halloween stuff 🙂

  4. Sandy Shirley says:

Um. . . I'd say YES we decorate at Halloween! Perhaps a little over the top. For a peek go to my blog today for pics – raggedysandy.blogspot.com.

  5. momof2girls says:

I love Halloween! I find great stuff at Marshalls Mega Homestore and the dollar store(a little glitter goes a long way!)

  6. Laurie says:

Halloween is my favorite holiday! We have a standing witch that talks via motion sensor. I put it on our porch for Trick-or-Treaters.

  7. Kyle says:

I decorate for Halloween…my favorite decor is the ghosts hanging in my tree.

  8. Ruth says:

I don't really decorate for Halloween-but your Blog is reaaally making me want to! Such super-cute ideas!

  9. Kim and Jon says:

i love decorating for halloween. my favorite things are an orange skull chandelier (paper) from the dollar tree!! (that store srsly, rocks)

and my other fav item are my martha pumpkins, saw this on her site last year, so easy and i love how they shine.

  10. Brian and Melissa says:

Although I do not yet decorate for Halloween, I am gathering lots of great ideas so that my 2 young boys can enjoy the holiday in the upcoming years.

  11. Lily Lemontree says:

I absolutely love to decorate for Halloween, it's my favourite time of the year. I actually have two favourite items (sorry can't pick between the two!) I can't wait to pull out each year and they both happen to go on our treat and dessert table for our annual Halloween party that we host. I have a gorgeous pair of skeleton candlesticks dressed as a creepy bride and groom that I put on our treat table, along with my other fav, a spiderweb cupcake stand (I can tell you have a thing for cupcakes, I wish I had a picture of this stand, you would love it!)

  12. Kristin says:

I usually decorate for harvest/fall! But adding some Halloween touches might be fun too. The ribbon pumpkins are my favorite!! 🙂

  13. Ashley says:

I need this Cd to get me in the mood to decorate…so far only pumpkins sit on my porch and I have a ghost nightlight in the hallway. Pretty sad huh? But I bet this CD would get me in the mood, you know like Christmas music does?

  14. Christine says:

i very seldom decorate for halloween. i live in a village where very few of my neighbors decorate 🙁

  15. seattlejessica says:

We do decorate for Halloween! Rather than go the spooky route we try to keep it tame so the neighborhood kiddos and our toddler can enjoy it (we get on average 700 trick-or-treaters each year). So, I have a puffy friendly spider we suspend above our doorway and his legs hang down around across the porch creating a tent like effect. We also have festive lights and a Happy Halloween banner in our window along with some yard stakes and baby pumpkins that line the walkway up to our door.

  16. Chelsea says:

I followed the link from the Bump contest to your site … I love all of your crafts – what talent! I actually know Kristen of Broom with a View and the CD looks amazing! Last year I gave birth to my baby girl on Oct 30th … so I'm making up for lost Halloween-decorating time this year and have gone all out! My son's favorite are these pumpkins (from http://www.artprojectsforkids.org/2008/10/how-to-make-pumpkin.html) and we hung up on our ceiling fan

We usually go all out for Halloween…but this year we are expecting my First Grand-babe on November 1st so we have kept decorating to a minimal…and we are the only people in the whole neighborhood with "PINK" It's a girl pumpkins! Oh…and should Jalina arrive early…not to worry…we have a newborn black kitty outfit for her…she'll be a perfect fit in with all our witch costumes! We'd love to win the CD!

  18. Laurel @ Ducks in a Row says:

We decorate for Halloween – I have black furniture in my home so it is super easy to make it Halloween-ish.

  19. ratays says:

we do decorate for halloween! i have to say my favorite decorations are the ones my two year old daughter and i made. candy corn, witches, spiders, black cats, ghosts, and pumpkins. all made out of colored paper cut and pasted. i have hung them on ALL the windows in our house for our neighbors to see! nothing better then the crafting with the kido! what a great memory for sure!!

  20. Natalie says:

We go all out for Halloween. I have as many boxes of Halloween decor as I do Christmas. The kids love it and we love throwing parties. My favorite halloween decoration is a large glittered tombstone with a chalkboard in the middle of it. I bought it from Pottery Barn kids last year. I use this on my kitchen island with a clever saying like " Bone-Apetit" I love the Pottery Barn Halloween Vignette posted by Just a Girl but wasn't able to find it on her blog. Do you have a direct link to it? Thanks!

  21. danielle says:

We usually don't decorate, but this year I am in the mood, so YES:)

  22. tania says:

I decorate every year, and this year I am throwing a party, with a skull theme. I can't wait and so far my favorite thing is the glossy and glitter skulls that I will randomly stick to my walls.
