I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!
My best friend, Kristi came to me a few weeks ago and confessed that she was thinking about having her daughter’s 4th birthday party at a local pizza/gaming place. My husband was quite excited as this place serves his favorite pizza, and beer. 🙂 She just wasn’t sure if she was up for hosting at her home and wanted something simple and easy.
I just couldn’t allow the pizza joint party.
Not when she has a party planning/invitation designing girl for a best friend…Not to mention, one who loves to make her “nieces” parties fabulous! (Remember this one?)
So….in came the idea for a simple & sweet ice cream social!
ENJOY!

looks great!!! I love the stickers on the ice cream cups.
Love the bright ice cream on the invite that you've carried through it all! Looks great!
And cute tablecloth! 🙂
Adorable party!!! I love the ice cream theme, especially the cake decorations!
so cute-I love this idea for a baby shower too!
So adorable! Bet she loved it!
Very cute themed 4 yo party! I'll have to keep this theme in mind for next year.
What an awesome "aunt" you are! I love the pic of the bowl of just toppings – m&m's, gummi bears, sprinkles and a cherry. Who is this child that doesn't like ice cream? Better get them to a doctor quick! Hehe!
So happy for the Intervention! This is way cuter than a pizza joint! 😉
Thank you for all of you sweet comments!
M – That would be my son, Tommy!! Isn't that funny? And Kate chose to have a cupcake instead…that's my girl! (that's her in the photo)
What an adorable concept, I love the custom labels!
SOOOO Beautiful!! Love everything about it!
So beautiful and missing all the wonderful parties I use to put
together for my kids when they were little. They don't want my parties anymore, just the money for more expensive gifts. My kids never wanted a party at a skating ring or bowling alley, they wanted mom's parties and so did the other moms and kids. In fact the kids, use to ask my kids if they were going to be invited each year and what was the theme. You do beautiful work and should be proud. My kids still talk about those parties!
Hmmm. not sure which I like better – the party or Kaylee's stunning hair!
Both are perfectly wonderful!

Love this theme!! Where is the pink placemat from? You did a wonderful job!!
Hi Kim!
I would like to link to this post from my blog, http://www.thestylishtot.com! But I would really love it if I can put up one of the images from here on to my blog as a teaser (credit to livelovephotography of course).
Let me know!
Thanks,
Gracci
very cute! what a great friend for saving her from that pizza joint! thanks for sharing!
Thank you, ladies! I am loving these fun, bright colors! Gracci – Thank you! Feel free to use the photos, just link please! The party photos were taken by me, the photo on the invitation was by LL 🙂
Beautiful!!
Gymboree just released a new line–popsicles and ice cream! It would be perfect to go with this theme. Makes me wish my daughter had stuck with an ice cream theme for her 4th coming up next month.
Love this! We are doing an ice-cream bar for my daughter as well! I cannot find these ice-cream cups anywhere! Could you tell me where you found them? Thanks!!
`yummy ‘!
I am planning an ice creamparty like this for my daughter’s 1st bday! I am going to use the labels and poka dot balloons too! What source do the styrofoam cups/bowls come from?
Love the llook of these and I am wondering what font you used making them. Would youshare the name?
Thank you !
Karen
What’s the party favor with the “thank-you” tag? Is it a rice-crispie cookie? I’m dying to know but can’t figure it out!!! And what’s it dipped in?
