I have some super exciting news today! I am so honored to announce that a story I wrote about the transition from my real estate career to creative blogging is published in a new book, Oola for Women: How to Balance the 7 Key Areas of Life to Have Less Stress, More Purpose, and Reveal the Greatness within You. My story is about a defining moment for me when I reached my breaking point and made a huge decision that would change my life for the better. It’s really defines why I started The TomKat Studio and how everything is coming full circle for me at this time in my life.     

Ironically, one of the co-authors of the book, Troy Amhdal was the buyer of one of our homes (the home actually mentioned in my story) and he knew a little bit about me and my business and reached out to see if I would be a good fit for the new book. After nervously chatting with Troy and opening up about my journey, I just knew it was time to share this piece of me with the world in the hopes that it might inspire other women to pursue their passion and to remind them that when one door closes, another one opens. I would absolutely love for you to read this book, not only because I’m in it, but because the entire book is a lesson in finding balance and happiness in all aspects of your life.

When I received my copies of the new book, it was truly a goosebump moment for me. I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching lately and feeling a little lost about my path and where I want to put my energy and focus moving forward. Reading my story in print not only made me proud, but it was an amazing reminder to myself to be open to new opportunities. I sincerely hope that my story touches at least a few women and encourages them to keep moving forward and not to be afraid to take a new path.
