I just received a fabulous early Christmas present! You may have noticed a new piece of equipment on my “desk” in this instagram post. I am so excited about my new Intel 2in1 device, a Microsoft Surface Pro 3. I have been looking for a new laptop, something that I could easily cart between my home office and the shop office. My existing laptop is super heavy and quickly became such a pain to carry back and forth. Not to mention, I use one of my fave Kate Spade bags to tote it from place-to-place and it was so heavy, I felt like it was going to ruin my bag. Enter…. the Microsoft Surface. I’ve seen all of the commercials that say “the tablet that can replace your laptop” and it was exactly what I need. I’ve been having lots of fun with it so far, Black Friday shopping, browsing Pinterest for holiday ideas and keeping tabs on my shop.

I haven’t moved all of my files, programs or photos over to it yet. But I will be this week and I’ll keep you posted on how the transition goes!
