New Year’s Eve Party + Cricut Explore Giveaway…

Share To:

cricutNYE_tomkat066

We recently styled this New Year’s Eve celebration using the Cricut Explore and are so excited to share the projects with you today! This was our first time utilizing the new Cricut® “Print Then Cut” function and you are going to LOVE it! When I met with the fabulous team at Cricut last year, one of the first things I asked was when would they have the option to print and cut! As a printable designer, I have longed for an easy way to cut both simple and intricate shapes after printing my designs. I got a “wink” from a few Cricut team members, including the CEO. I knew it was coming…

cricut print and cut

…and it’s here.. and it’s amazing! You can now print designs on your color printer at home, and then send them through your Cricut Explore to cut around the images. The design files are setup with register marks that the Explore reads to determine where to cut based on the design. With a few simple set-up steps (see instructions here) you can get your Explore ready to create full-color, custom designs! The possibilities for printables are endless with this new feature and software. Cheers!

For this New Year’s Eve party, I created 10 projects, some that utilize the Print Then Cut system, and some that are simple cuts on the Explore.
